Recently in on a newer integrated amp is this hefty Parasound HCA-2200II (2200 Mark 2) two channel stereo power amplifier. Equipped with both balanced and single ended inputs this amp is ready for any system. Rated at 200WPC and weighing about 50 pounds, the 2200 remains highly regarded for it's fast clean sound and incredible power reserves. The 2200 was built from 1989-1993 it sold new for $1600. The Series II version replaced it in 1994-1998 or so, and the Mark II version sold for more ($1995 app.) and had audible improvements. This amp is just finishing an overhaul with capacitor changes and other minor protection circuit repairs to insure it will perform for another 20 years of service. Repair costs far exceed the listing price. Sorry for the pictures, we were a bit rushed to get them taken before it went in for service and didn't notice all the dust and fingerprints that show up so well in the picture.
