I CERTAINLY WILL ALLOW PICKUP IF THE WINNING BIDDER WANTS TO PICK IT UP. PLEASE NO FOREIGN BIDDERS AS I WILL NOT SELL THIS AMPLIFIER OUTSIDE THE LOWER 48 STATES DUE TO ITS SIZE AND WEIGHT. This is a near mint McIntosh MC2255 Amplifier. When I say NEAR MINT I don't say MINT because to me that means NEW. You will be hard pressed to find a cosmetic flaw in this amplifier and certainly NO FLAWS in its performance. It was just completely serviced including a new glass faceplate installed at either Audio Classics or McIntosh themselves. I believe that Audio Classics told me that it had just been sent back to the McIntosh plant by its orignal owner for the new faceplate and to be checked out by the. Prior to getting the amp back from McIntosh, the original owner decided to completely upgrade his complete stereo system and traded this amp in at that time. When I opened it up after receiving it from Audio Classics, it was like getting a brand new amplifier. It just doesn't get any better than this one. This amplifier is 250 watts per channel or 500 watts mono. It has the power to handle any speaker you want to use with it. I bought it from Audio Classics in March of this year to put together my recording studio stereo. I wanted a dedicated stereo for transferring my collection of vintage LP's to tape and CD. I had been very ill for some time and in and out of the hospital prior to buying this amplifier. I have now had health issues come back so I have decided to sell off all of my audio equipment that I just purchased for this recording stereo as I don't know if I will be able to use it anymore. It will be shipped in the original style McIntosh boxes with all the original packing material that came in the boxes from Audio Classics. You won't find a nicer McIntosh MC2255 anywhere. I looked a very long time for an exceptionally nice one for my system and this is the best I could find anywhere. The reputation of Audio Classics and my exceptional feedback rating here on ebay of selling nice things for over 10 year should help make the decision of buying from me. I normally would take many more pictures for an auction like this but due to its weight and my health, I just couldn't move the amp around for taking pictures. When the amp sells, it will just slide out of the rack mount and right into the McIntosh inner box for shipping. The pictures show this amplifier mounted in a special rack mount and rack that I purchased for this recording audio setup. It is NOT included with the auction. If after the auction is over, the winning bidder wants the rack mount and or the rack that this amplifier was in, let me know and we will work out a good price for what is wanted in addition to the amp. I have also made the same offer to the winning bidder of the C22 that is currently on auction right now so it may or may not be gone.
